Helal for Liberation War spirit in new generations

Chairman of the Central Command Council of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad (BMS) Major General (retd) Helal Morshed Khan, Bir Bikram, has called for building new generations with spirit of the War of Liberation.

"The freedom fighters fought risking their lives to liberate the country. Their successors should work sincerely to save our country from Razakars, Al-Badars and anti-liberation forces," he said.

Helal Morshed Khan made the call while addressing a rally as the chief guest at Town Hall auditorium in Rangpur town on Tuesday afternoon. Rangpur district unit of BMS organised the rally. Rangpur district unit Commander of BMS Mosaddek Hossain Bablu presided over the rally participated by hundreds of the freedom fighters from all eight districts under Rangpur division.

Secretary General (admin) of the central Command Council of BMS Emdad Hossain Mati, its Acting Secretary General (Finance and Planning) Abul Basher, addressed the rally as special guests.

Commanders of the district and city units of BMS of all eight districts under Rangpur division also addressed the rally.

Convener of the central committee of Mukti-joddha Santan Command Sheikh Atikur Babu, its Member Secretary Mahbubul Islam Prince, Convener of its Rangpur district unit Command Tauhidul Islam, its Joint Convener Golam Kabir Kajol, were present.
