Bangladesh's Archer Md Roman Sana clinches gold in Men's recurve gold medal final round beating Russia's Nickolav Alex by 6-0 set points in the International Archery Tournament 2017 at Supara Chunkurchak in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on August 25, said a press release.
Both archers- Md Roman Sana and Beauty Roy- show extraordinary performances in the tournament. On day's another match, Roman and Beauty beat Tajikistan's Saydov Tillo and Firoza Juvaidova in Mixed recurve bronze round 5-3 set points.
Roman Sana, who is the country's best archer, wins gold medal for the first time in Asia Cup Stage-2 world ranking (single recurve round) 2015 held in Thailand. Sana wins 2nd gold in ISSF international Solidarity Archery Championships 2017 held in Dhaka. Sana clinches 3rd gold for Bangladesh through this tournament.
The 5-member team including Official delegate from World Archery Asia Kazi Rajib Ahmed Chapal, team manager Md Kamrul Islam, coach Md Ziaul Haque, archer Md Roman Sana (Man recurve) and archer Beauty Roy (Women recurve) have reached Dhaka on August 26.
