Ferdous and Joya Ahsan starrer film 'Putro', based on the story of autistic children, will finally hit the theaters on January 5.
The government-aided movie is based on the social stigma surrounding autism was made in 2015. The social stigma centering autism and discrimination against autistic children will be shown through the film.
Carrying out an important message that autistic children are not a burden to society, the film has been made aiming to raise human care for autistic children through entertainment. The movie was written by Harunur Rashid and directed by Saiful Islam Mannu.
The plot circles around Jaya's character adopting an abandoned autistic child. The father, who abandons the child, is played by Ferdous. In "Putro", Jaya fights social stigma and nurtures her adopted son to discover his musical talent.

The movie follows a string of critically acclaimed films made by Jaya Ahsan in 2017, including "Khacha" and "Bishorjan."
Ferdous too has had his fair share of success in 2017 with his role in Srijit Mukherjee's "Yeti Obhijaan," the second installment of the adventure series "Kakababu" starring Prosenjit Chatterjee.
