Bonpara Municipality gets new mayor

K M Zakir Hossen, Awami League nominated candidate, is elected for the second time as mayor of Banpara Municipality. He had got 8024 votes. His nearest contestant Mahua Noor Kochi got 5710 votes.

On Thursday, at 9.am the returning Officer and DEO Natore Abul Hossain announced the result. In At the same time, the EC declared Abdul Alim as chairman of Majgaon UP and Chan Mohammad as chairman Jowary UP. 

Thanking the people of Banpara municipality for doing himself mayor for the second time, KM Zakri Hossen promised to the people to be by their side more for the next time.  Prof Abdul Kuddus MP  congratulate K M Zakir Hossain.
