Shanu and a fight against extremism

She has been in the media for more than an era. After winning Lux Channel i Superstar in 2015, she has worked in numerous stage and TV productions. The actress we are talking about is Shanarei Devi Shanu. Though she has been regular in small screen, she has not been seen in any film. Now the wait is over. This talented actress is finally debuting in Dhallywood.

With Abu Akhter Ul Iman directed film Mr. Bangladesh, Shanu is entering into the big screen industry of Bangladesh. The actress has confirmed the news on Sunday that she has been casted in Mr. Bangladesh film.

About her first film, Shanu said, "I was supposed to make the entrance in Humayun Ahmed's Noy Number Bipod Sanket film. However, that did not happen. After that I have been proposed for many films but now Mr. Bangladesh will be my debut film where I will appear as a housewife."

The shooting of the film began at the last end of 2017. The director, Abu Akhter Ul Iman said, "The shooting of the film has been done by 60 percent. The shooting for the last part will begin in the middle of January.

Hopefully by the end of February, we will be able to wrap up the shooting." The story and screenplay of Mr. Bangladesh has been written by filmmaker Khijir Hayat Khan and Hasnat Piash. Besides writing the screenplay, Khijir Hayat Khan will also appear in the lead character in the movie.

This Jago famed director said, "Mr. Bangladesh's story will revolve around the extremism in Banlgadesh. We are making the film with a sense of responsibility. You can say this is a bold step for us to fight against the extremism." Produced under KHK Production's banner, the film also stars Tiger Robi and Shahriar Sajib.
