Freedom Fighter Major Bachchu passes away

Former Jatiya party MP Bir Muktijuddha and former Major Shamsul Huda Bachchu , locally known as Major Bachchu died of cardiac attack at his residence in Narsingdi town on Wednesday night. He was 70 years old. At the time of his departure, he left his wife, three daughters, relatives and well wishers. His first Namaj-e -Janaja was held on the premises of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban and 2nd janaja was held at Narsingdi court Eidgoan ground with guard of honor. Leaders of different political parties, government officials and people from other walks of life attended his Namaj-e-Janaja at Narsingdi court Eidgoan ground.
Abu Sayed , Parliament Member (MP) of Joypurhat, Deputy Commissioner  of Narsingdi Abu Hena Morshed Zaman, General Secretary Of Narsingdi District Awami league Abdul Motin Bhuiyan , Mayor of Narsingdi Pourashava  Kamruzzaman Kamrul and District Muktijuddah Commander Abdul Motaleb Pathen was present among others.  He was buried at Narsingdi Gubtoli madrasha graveyard after Asar prayer.
