BUP gets new Vice Chancellor

Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, ndc, psc, joined Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) as Vice Chancellor on February 12. Prior to joining BUP, he served as the Director General of Systems and Services Division of Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

Earlier in Bangladesh Army, he commanded a signal brigade, a signal battalion and held many other important appointments.

He also performed as Chief of Staff, Chief Communication Officer and Military Observer in United Nations Observer Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC) at different times. The Pro-VC and other BUP High Officials welcomed him on his arrival, says a media release of the university.
