Tangail, Arambagh get wins in 3rd div football
Tangail Football Academy and Arambagh Football Academy registered victories in the matches of the Saif Power Battery 3rd Division Football League against their rivals at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium on Friday.
Tangail FA routed Kallol Sangha 4-0 in the day’s second match where Shihab Mia, Sabuj Ahmed, Mahbub Hossain Masum and Rafiqul Islam scored one goal each for the winners in the 15th, 58th, 71st and 84th minutes respectively.
Arambagh FA defeated Uttara Friends Club 3-1 in another match where Sadek Hossain scored twice in the 33rd and 88th minutes while Rafikul Islam Suman added on in the 80th minute for the winners. Rubel Ahmed scored the consolation goal for the losers in the stopgap time after 90 minutes.
