Bangladesh Men’s Volleyball team leaves for Iran Friday

An 18-member Bangladesh National Volleyball team will leave for Iran on Friday as part of their preparations for the Bangabandhu Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone International Volleyball Championship beginning on April 21 at the Shaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium in Mirpur.

During their three-week tour in Iran, Bangladesh team will play 13 preparatory matches with local selections in addition of taking higher training there.

The Bangladesh team comprises of 15 players and three officials will leave the capital Friday morning at 7:55am by an Air Arabian flight and return home on April 7.

Members of Bangladesh team: Players - Horshid Biswas, Sayed Al Zabir (Rajesh), Kaiser Hamid, Masud Hossain, Syed Atiqur Rahman, Emdadul Haque, Narayan Debnath, Abdul Monim Saddam, Rashed Khan Menon, Imran Haider Kanchan, Sajibur Rahman, Mohsin Uddin, Mahmudul Hasan, Miruj Miah and Mohammad Fakruddin.

Officials: Ashim Saha (Manager cum Assistant Coach), Imdadul Haque Milan (Assistant Coach) and Nazrul Islam (Trainer).
