Poramon 2 has an unusual plot: Puja

For couple of days, Poramon 2, an upcoming Bangladeshi Bengali romantic drama film written and directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Abdul Aziz, has been in the spotlight. It is the sequel of 2013 much acclaimed film PoraMon that starred Mahiya Mahi and Symon in the lead roles.

In Poramon 2, Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry will play the lead characters. With it, Siam, a popular actor in small screen will debut in Dhallywood. Actress Puja Cherry, who already got huge appreciation through her film Noor Jahan, is excited about her role and the film.

"Poramon 2 has a really unusual plot. I hope audience will love my character and the story of the film," said Puja Cherry.
"Poramon 2 is already making waves. A song dedicated to late Dhallywood super star Salman Shah titled 'Number One Hero' has already been released and the song has already been watched for 1,078,682 times.

The poster also gained huge appreciation as it shows atypical style. We don't see this kind of poster generally," added Puja.  "Both me and Siam have been overwhelmed by the response the song has received. I hope the film will be liked more than the first one," said she.

In Poramon 2, Siam will play the role of a daring village lad called Shujon, while Puja will be seen as a poor school-going village girl whose love evolves through their friendship. However, the plot of this heart-wrenching love story will take a turn for the bad and end on a sad note for the star-crossed lovers.
