Nur Jahan Gani no more

Nur Jahan Ghani, mother of former Principal Secretary to the Prime Ministers' Office and Chairman of Janata Bank Ltd Shaikh Md Wahid Uz Zaman, died on Monday at 97. She left behind son, grand children, a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn her death.

Nur Jahan, wife of Dr MA Ghani, founder of Bagerhat's Rampal College, was laid to rest at the Banani Army Graveyard after her Namaj-e-Janaja at the Central Mosque of Mirpur DOHS.
