Shamim Osman MP’s mother passes away

Language veteran Nagina Zoha, mother of lawmakers AKM Shamim Osman, AKM Selim Osman and late AKM Nasim Osman, died of old-age complications in city's United Hospital on Monday. She was 81.  Nagina, who had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since March 1 and was under life support from March 6, died at around 1:10 pm.
Her namaz-e-janaza will be held at Khanpur after Asr prayers and will be buried at the city corporation graveyard of Majdair of Narayanganj.
She left behind two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death. AKM Shamsuzzoha, husband of the deceased Nagina Zoha, also received Independence Award for his outstanding contributions to the War of Liberation in 1971.
Nagina Zoha was born in Bardwan district in 1935. She passed the matriculation under the Kolkata University in 1950.
On Sunday while she was in life support in hospital, a milad mahfil was held after Asr prayers at Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Narayanganj Club Ltd for her early recovery.
