Opposition Chief Whip Tajul Islam dies
Opposition chief whip in Parliament and Jatiya Party Presidium Member Md Tajul Islam Choudhury has passed away.
The Kurigram-2 MP died at United Hospital in the capital last night while undertaking treatment there.
He was the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Commerce Ministry.Tajul Islam Chowdhury was admitted at United Hospital on Sunday noon. He was suffering from diabetes and kidney complications.
