FF seeks nomination in M'singh-8 constituency

Veteran politician, Freedom Fighter and former MP Alhaz Abdul Matin Sarkar has been seeking nomination from Awami League in the 11th National Election from Mymensingh-8 constituency.

FF Abdul Matin Sarkar said, 'I will work for the people and the development in this area if I get nomination. I have full confidence that I will win in this seat.' He said also, 'I am with the people in well and woe and will be.

I hold the ideology of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman. I never looked back. I have been frequently sent to jail for this great ideology of Bangabandhu but never left the politics.'

FF Abdul Matin Sarkar was elected Trishal upazila chairman in 1990 and won by huge difference in 2001 national election. He has a brave political career from his student life.

He was elected Chhatra League VP in 1973 in Trishal Nazrul Degree College and Zilla Chhatra League's publicity secretary in 1975. He has better popularity in the area comparatively than other candidates. FF Abdul Matin Sarkar has a dream to establish Trishal as a role model in the district.
