Shakib starrer 'Shahenshah,' starts production

'Shahenshah,' starring Dhally-wood superstar Shakib Khan, will start rolling from October 19. In the film the popular Bangladeshi actor will be seen romancing actor Nusrat Faria and newcomer Rodela Jannat. The film is directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni.

'Shahenshah' is produced by Shapla Media. The film's launching ceremony took place at a five star hotel in Gulshan, Dhaka, on September 5.   The production date was announced at the launch even though multiple pre-announced shoot dates were announced previously.

Producer of the film, Selim Khan, said at the event: "We could not shoot the film due to some technical problems. We are already done with the preproduction of the film.

Hopefully, we will start shooting without any other complications from October 19. We want to complete the film as early as possible by working at a stretch."

Shakib Khan is also part of another upcoming Shapla Media production titled "Ekti Prem Dorkar Manoniyo Sarkar." This film is directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni. Actor Shabnom Bubly and another newcomer, Shuchismita Mridula, are paired alongside Shakib, the superstar of Bangladeshi films.
