Truck Lagbe won Best Technology Innovation award

Truck Lagbe was awarded by Bangladesh Brand Forum recently as winner in the "Best Technology Innovation" category.  Chief Executive Officer Anayet Rashid and Chief Operating Officer of Truck Lagbe Mir Hossain Ekram received award from Ahmed Jamal, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank (BB), Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, Mastercard and Mr. Manoj Kulkarni, Executive Director at Nielsen - South Asia.

Earlier 168 companies participated in the competition and jury board of experts from a2i Access to Information program, LICT project, Mastercard, Bkash, ISOCIAL, BASIS and Bangladesh Brand Forum evaluated the submission and selected 10 companies as winners. Mr. Shariful Islam, Founder and MD of Bangladesh Brand Forum delivered welcome speech towards all participants in the award giving ceremony.

Truck Lagbe is the android mobile app that connects shippers directly with truck operators reducing middlemen to hire a truck. The app is free to use and active all over Bangladesh for past one year. Everyday thousands of trips are done successfully through the app.
