Free diabetic test program held

At least 132 people tested their diabetics status in Nakla of Sherpur on Monday. The program was organized by the Sherpur Diabetic Hospital and arrange by the Nakla Upazila Health Complex (UHC). The diabetic test was done at the temporary stall in front of the Nakla UHC from 9am to 4pm on Monday. Diabetic diagnosis of 132 people diagnosed with 33 diabetes.

Meanwhile, Raziya Samad Dalia Sherpur Diabetic Association president & president of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission of Sherpur district unit, Dr Md Mujibur Rahman Upazila Health Officer, Zayida Parvin Technician of Sherpur Diabetic Hospital and More than 150 people of different areas, doctors & nurses of Nakla UHC, officers of various voluntary organizations, civil society leaders were present.

It is to be noted that on Wednesday, November 14th, the Sherpur Diagnostic Association Authority took control of the free diabetic test in different areas of the district from the day of World Diabetic Day-2018. Free diabetic test are being run in different areas of the district & upazila in coordination with a team of experienced doctors and technicians in the program.
