AIUB student gets Digital Bangladesh Award

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) Computer Engineering Department student Sauda Musharrat has secured the prestigious Digital Bangladesh Award with her idea 'Vision 2041: An Affordable Real-time Patient Monitoring System for Underprivileged Hospitals'.

This project idea was guided under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr Kamruddin Nur of AIUB. In a bid to provide the youths a platform to create remarkable changes and innovations for Bangladesh, Access to Information (a2i) Programme Innovation Lab organized a competition for university students.

The best participants were awarded at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on the Digital Bangladesh Day. Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar, Principal Secretary to the PM Md Nojibur Rahman, Abul Kalam Azad, Zuena Aziz and AKM Khairul Alam were present at the program.
