BNP leader Shama Obaid visits ailing Sajeda Chowdhury

Bangladesh Nationalist Party's (BNP) Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid has visited ailing Awami League leader Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury at her residence in Faridpur.  Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury is Awami League candidate from Faridpur 2 constituency while Shama Obaid is BNP candidate from the same electoral area.

Shama Obaid paid a visit to see the health condition of Sajeda Chowdhury at her home Hamid Manjil on Friday at Saltha upazila under Faridpur district. Sajeda Chowdhury was sleeping when Shama Obaid reached her residence. Shama Obaid talked to Sajeda Chowdhury's son Sajid Akbar Chowdhury and offered her best wishes for Sajeda Chowdhury's quick recovery.

Later on Shama Obaid handed over BNP leaflet to Sajid Akbar Chowdhury and Sajeda Chowdhury's Assistant Private Secretary (APS) Shafiuddin. Sajid Akbar Chowdhury and Shafiuddin gave Awami League leaflet to Shama Obaid. They all took pictures holding BNP and Awami League posters.

Shama Obaid said, "Sajeda Chowdhury is a motherly figure to me. I am always respectful to her though we are political opponents. Sajeda Chowdhury loves me too. May Allah Almighty cure Sajeda Chowdhury soon."

Leaders and activists of both BNP and Awami League gathered in front of Sajeda Chowdhury's residence hearing the news of Shama Obaid's visit.
