Experts for formulating cyber security policy

Security experts and local business leaders at a summit held on last Wednesday stressed formulating a strong cyber security policy to ensure sound and smooth digital transformation in both public and private sectors.

The Oneworld Infotech organised the event titled 'OneWorld Tech Summit 2019' under the theme of "Digital Transformation and Security" at Gulshan Club in the capital, a press release said.

"Enterprises can no longer imagine digital transformation without the shaping and formulation of effective security policies in parallel," Global Director of OneWorld InfoTech Maruf Ahmed said.

The summit brought together government officials, business leaders and IT and Information security experts from multiple world-leading technology companies to discuss digital transformation and formulate best strategies for checking current and future security threats.

Several keynote speakers at multiple sessions of the summit also echoed the same that the future of security in a hybrid world where everything is connected will heavily depend on the visibility, accuracy and orchestration.
