Sajol, a Bangladeshi YouTube hero
YouTuber Sajol recently celebrated the wining of Silber Button from YouTube with his fan and followers at Chandrima Uddan in the city. -AA
Md Sajol is one of the pioneers of YouTubers in Bangladesh. Hailing from Khalishpur of Khulna, Sajol studies B Sc (Honors) at a private university in the capital.In a recent interview at The Asian Age office, Sajol told his story about YouTube.
Sajol had started his YouTube activities in 2011. At the time, there was no copyrights system in YouTube. He uploaded more than 30 videos and getting good response from viewers.
After one month, Sajol applied for monetization, which is an earning source from YouTube. Following his monetization, the young YouTuber earned $114 in a month. "I was very much happy that I have earned money from YouTube. That was my inspiration and since then, I have been in the journey on YouTube which has made me popular to audience."Sajol said, "The name of my first YouTube channel was Tuber Fx. At the time, I earned Tk 14000 from the channel. It was my first income.
All of my videos were shot by mobile phone. I started to earn $200-300 on an average from the next month. It is matter of prided that I had introduced slide video in YouTube for the first time in Bangladesh, which is immensely popular now a days." In 2016, the young dreamer transformed his channel as TecH Bangla Pro. The channel has around two lakhs subscriber and average 30,000-40, 000 views daily. For his contribution on YouTube, he has received Silver Play Button, which is very prestigious for a YouTuber. Only verified YouTubers get the honor.
Till now, Sajol has only one YouTube Channel. But he has a plan to create one more channel about his personal lifestyle and the possible name of his new channel will be The Sajol.
The young creator said in Bangladesh, a YouTuber can earn Tk one million every month from Google AdSense account. He is also earning TK 4000-100,000 average monthly, which has been being deposited his account within 21-27 date fixed by Google in every month. Moreover, he also earn from promotional advertisement of various companies.
At present, Bangladesh has 1,000-2,000 professional YouTubers. Of them, only 100-200 YouTubers are verified. Sajol thinks, the number of verified YouTubers will increase day by day. Funny videos, short films, gaming reviews, tutorial and are popular content on YouTube, he added. The YouTuber is a good outsourcing means also. Outsourcing can be done in many ways like Google Ad and act as a Google Adviser.
He said Bangladesh has a very good position in outsourcing. Young generations are choosing outsourcing as their income source. "I have a dream to establish an outsourcing institute in Bangladesh in future," he said.
Putting importance to become an enthusiastic, Sajol suggests new comers on YouTube that they should be very patient, skilled and a very good learner from YouTube. "If a YouTuber gives 6-12 months to YouTube properly, then he/she will definitely be successful."
