Ankhi Alamgir's 'LayLa' released on YouTube

One of the most popular singers in the Bangla music industry Ankhi Alamgir, has released a new song and its music video titled 'LayLa' on YouTube recently under the banner of Dhruba Music Station.

 The music video contains a twist. It does not only feature Ankhi Alamgir singing, but she is also seen performing in the music video with a dance troupe from Kolkata. The music video was released on the official YouTube channel of Dhruba Music Station on Thursday evening. Apart from DMS's official YouTube channel, the song will be available in DMS's website, GP Music and Banglalink Vibe.

The lyrics were penned by Prasenjit Mukherjee, while the tune and the music arrangement of the song have been done by Amlaan Chakrabarti. The music video of the song has been directed by Rahul Ghosh with Tvwala MEDIA, based in Kolkata.

Akhi Alamgir said: "After a hiatus, I have come up with a single song. For this, I have taken my time and tried to present the song and myself in a new way in the music video of 'LayLa'. The person who was more of a front runner in this was Jewel Morshed. I am really grateful to him for his help. I am also thankful to Dhruba Guha for his assistance. I want people to listen to the song as much as they can."
