Shaju: Best principal in Ctg division

Shahjahan Alam Shaju, principal of Bangabandhu Technical and Commerce College in Ashuganj of Brahmanbaria has been named the best principal (technical) in Chattogram division.

Shahjahan Shaju was also selected as best principal in Ashuganj upazila and Brahmanbaria district on the occasion of National Education Week 2019. Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) organized the competition. Teachers, officials, employees, students and guardians of Bangabandhu Technical and Commerce College have congratulated Principal Shaju for this achievement.

It may be mentioned that Principal Shaju was vice president and joint secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) central committee. He was also the founding president of BCL, Islamic University Unit. He founded Bangabandhu Technical and Commerce College in 2000. The college won the honor of being best college at national level thrice.

Shahjahan Shaju has set a rare record of discharging duties as the member secretary of Non-Government Teachers-Employees' Welfare Trust under the Ministry of Education. He is the founding president of Shadinota Shikkhak Parishad, the largest professional organization in the country.
