Advocate Salma Islam stands beside poor people

Ex State Minister for Women and Children Affairs, presidium members of Jatiya Party and Member of Parliament of reserved women's seats Advocate Salma Islam offered Jakat to the poor and helpless people of various unions in Nawabganj upazila of Dhaka yesterday.

While delivering her speech she said "I want to work for the betterment of people standing beside you. Till last fifteen years I come here again and again to share the happiness of Eid- Ul- Fitr with you. To me your happiness comes first rather politics."

She distributed one thousand sarees and lungis among the people of five unions from her own fund. MP Advocate Salma Islam also assured the people saying, "till my last breath I will work for the betterment of common people. I was with you, I am with you and in near future I will be with you".
