Bobby seeks open space for children

Radwan Siddiq Bobby, son of Sheikh Rehana and grandson of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has laid emphasis on more open space for the children of Bangladesh. Radwan Siddiq Bobby is also a trustee of Center for Research and Information (CRI).

He wrote on his Facebook timeline, "Do we really need another 'walking park' in Gulshan? Why can't the old Wonderland site be a dedicated sports hub? Even in its neglected and unfinished state, it's brimming with young people doing sport, having fun, being active. On any given day both GYC field and this site are completely full.

Just build some all-weather multi-purpose pitches and let the children (and adults) play!"RAJUK demolished the Wonderland Amusement Park in Gulshan in 2012 after a case was resolved. The court then ordered to build a public park over there.

Radwan Siddiq Bobby remarked that children need to do physical exercise and play sports to keep themselves physically and mentally sound and fit. In another Facebook post Radwan Siddiq Bobby wrote, "Our children are amongst the most active in the world! Let's help them out by creating more spaces for them to play in. And also by not forcing them to study the whole time."

A press release from CRI stated that Radwan Siddiq Bobby plays football regularly. He is very fond of sports. The press release also referred to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's directive to construct a mini stadium in every upazila.Radwan Siddiq Bobby called upon all guardians to allow their children to spend a good amount of time besides studies to make themselves physically active.
