Tollygunge actress Shrabonti Chatterjee is now in Dhaka. Landed on yesterday, the actress has come to this country for the promotion of her latest film 'Shikari'. Shrabonti is playing the lead actress role in this movie against Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan. This is her debut film in Dhallywood.

Shrabonti will be present in a press conference today where she will answer questions about the film, informed the chief executive of Jazz Multimedia Alimullah Khokon.  Shrabonti will return to Kolkata on June 23 after the promotion of the film, the facebook status of Jazz Multimedia informed.

The film 'Shikari' has already become the matter of discussion among the fans and movie lovers. The teaser trailer and song uploaded in YouTube have already caught attention. The chemistry between Shakib Khan and Shrabonti has raised a storm in social networking site and YouTube. The song 'Harabo Toke' has been watched nearly over one million, which is a record for any Bangladeshi-India joint venture film.

The film is jointly produced by Jazz Multimedia from Bagladesh and SK Movies from India and jointly directed by Jakir Hossain Shimanto and Jaydip Mukherjee.  Earlier Shrabonti visited Dhaka on the premiere occasion of the film.

Shrabonti debuted in the film industry through 'Mayar Badhon', a 1997 film by Shwapan Saha. Her popular films are 'Champion', 'Omanush', 'Dujone', 'Wanted', 'Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo', 'Dewana', 'Kanamachi', 'Majnu', 'Bindas', 'Bunohash' and others.
