Asaduzzaman appointed new CTTC chief
Md Asaduzzaman, Deputy Inspector General of Police, has been appointed as the chief of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit (CTTC).
A gazette notification was issued in this regard by the home ministry's public security division on Monday.
Previously, Md Asaduzzaman served as DIG of the Special Branch (SB) of the Police. Former CTTC chief Monirul Islam has been appointed the new chief of police's special branch after he was replaced.
