Actor Amit Mistry who is known for films like 'Shor In the City', 'A Gentleman', 'Kya Kehna' and more, breathed his last today morning after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Mourning the loss of the actor, Aahana Kumra wrote, "Gone too soon dost Amit Mistry....devastated to hear this…too soon… Om shanty." Sumeet Vyas took to his social media story and added, "RIP Amit Mistry". "Your loss will be incomprehensible on earth rest in peace dear friend Amit Mistry" shared Kubbra Sait with a photo of the late actor on Instagram.
"I was ready to start shooting a show that Amit Mistry is an integral part of. His talent, his insight were a thing to behold. We've lost a truly wonderful artist today. Rest in Peace." tweeted Vir Das who was in talks with his upcoming work. Jacqueline Fernandez has also put up a throwback picture with the late actor that read, "Rest in peace actor Amit Mistry." On the work front, Amit is quite known in the Gujarati film industry.
He has been an important part of many Bollywood films like, 'Kya Kehna', 'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local', '99', 'Yamla Pagla Deewana', 'A Gentleman' and others. He was last seen in a web series 'Bandish Bandits' co-starring Shreya Chaudhary and Ritwik Bhowmik. One of his most popular works was Preity Zinta starter 'Kya Kehna' where he stayed the role of the actress's brother.
