Tree plantation inaugurated in Naogaon Govt College

 
A tree plantation program has been inaugurated at Naogaon Government College on Tuesday. Professor Manik Kumar Saha, principal of the college, inaugurated the tree plantation program. Naogaon Govt College Vice-Principal Professor Md Khaja Abdul Goni along with other department heads, professors, lecturers and employees of the college were present on the occasion. Regarding the tree plantation, Principal Manik Kumar Saha said, "On directives of Prime Minsiter Sheikh Hasina, we have taken this initiative to make the universe livable for people. There is no alternative to tree plantation to balance the environment. Though it is easy to plant trees, it is hard to protect them. We will continue this program for whole rainy season." He said, we will plant around the college field and buildings. Today, we have planted 20 fruit trees. Gradually we will plant some 100 fruit and forest trees."
