ASP Jewel Rana gets 'National Integrity Award'

ASP Jewel Rana gets 'National Integrity Award'  On behalf of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed, Additional IGP Md Mainur Rahman (Admin and Operations) hands over the 'National Integrity Award' to ASP Md Jewel Rana (Daudkandi-Chandina circle) at Police Headquarters on Wednesday. –AA

Md Jewel Rana, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Daudkandi-Chandina circle) has been awarded the 'National Integrity Award' for the 2019-20 fiscal year as he made significant and laudable contribution to his official works.  

On behalf of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed, Additional IGP Md Mainur Rahman (Admin and Operations) handed over the 'National Integrity Award' to ASP Md Jewel Rana at Police Headquarters on Wednesday (June 30).  

He received the award under the 'National Integrity Policy 2017' in recognition of achieving the highest target in 19 indicators of professionalism, honesty, good conduct, leadership and ethics in 2019-20 in the Industrial Police.  

Additional IG (HRM) Md Mazharul Islam, DIG (Administration)  Md Aminul Islam, BPM (Bar), DIG (Logistics) Mohammad Tawfiq Mahbub Chowdhury, DIG (Welfare) Ruhul Amin, BPM and other senior officials of the police headquarters were also present on the occasion.     

This year, the Bangladesh Police started giving the Integrity Award. ASP Md. Jewel Rana won this award for the first time. He has received a certificate and one month's basic salary as reward.  

Expressing his gratitude for the award, ASP Jewel Rana thanked Allah and said, "It is a pleasure to receive any award, but it is undoubtedly a great honor for me to receive the 'National Integrity Award' for the first time out of 212,000 troops. This award will give me more motivation to do good deeds and give me the strength to dedicate myself to the welfare of the people."  

It is mentionable that last month, Chattogram Range of Bangladesh Police awarded ASP Md Jewel Rana as second 'best circle' officer in recognition of his professional and organizational excellence in discharging duties. He has won the hearts of millions of people through his humanitarian works.  

He is now the voice of hardworking people. His speech against injustice has been seen by half a crore people of the world and has received praise from different parts of the world. ASP Jewel Rana, a safe haven for the people of Daudkandi-Chandina, sought the blessings and cooperation of all.
