NSTU gets new pro VC

 
Mohammad Abdul Baki on Wednesday took appointment as pro Vice-Chancellor of Noakhali University of Science and Technology (NSTU). He is a Professor in the Department of Zoology, Jagannath University. He has been given this appointment for the next 4 (four) years. The matter was informed in a circular signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education Nur E Alam on Wednesday. The term of his appointment as Vice-Chancellor will be 04 (four) years from the date of joining. However, if applicable, he shall return to the original post at the age of regular service and complete the remainder of the said period after completing the formalities of retirement. As the pro Vice-Chancellor, he will enjoy the same benefits as his current post and other benefits of the post. The President of the Republic and the Chancellor may cancel the appointment at any time if necessary.
