The mindset of the audience need to be changed: Keya

Sabrina Sultana Keya, the beautiful heroine of Dhallywood. She has started acting movies almost two decades ago when she was in school. In Montazur Rahman Akbar's 'Kathin Bastab', teenager Keya starred opposite the then top star Manna. Although the work of the movie has decreased in the current situation in Corona, the lascivious heroine is spending her busy time. Doing one movie after another. She is busy in shooting.

Kaya has completed shooting of multiple films. Jamshed Shamim is opposite him in G Swadhin's 'Kotha Dilam'. Keya said that the shooting of the song of the film is still pending. In this film, she has played the role of the chairman's daughter. She has also completed the work of Rakibul Alam Rakib's film 'Yes Madam'. In this film, she has played the role of a police officer.

This is the first time she has acted in such a lady action film. Shipon Mitra has acted opposite her in this film. She has also completed the work of 'Seemana' and Ali Azad's 'Banalata' by the same producer. Saif Khan is opposite her in these two films. She has also acted in Ivan Mallick's 'Munafiq'. In this film too, Keya has tied the knot with Saif Khan.

The cinema hall was closed for a long time due to corona situation. Now slowly opening. Keya is not disappointed with this. She is in the optimistic team, "Corona situation is slowly becoming normal. It has affected not only us, but the film industry all over the world. I think everything will be fine."Keya also welcomes the web platform. In this context, her commentary, "the advent of OTT (Over the Top) platform has increased the work opportunities of artists. I don't have to sit down because of the film. If all goes well, I will also work on a web series or web film."

On the last Eid, Kaya acted in the play titled 'Jamai Dui Number' directed by Sadiq Siddiqui. Asked if she would work on the play regularly, she said, "If I like the story, I will definitely work on the tv dramas.I have received response from the audience about the work of Eid. If the time is right, then there is no objection to work in the tv dramas."

Keya also said that talks are going on about some movies and advertisements. She hopes to be able to inform the audience suddenly. Regarding the recent criticism of the people in the film, Keya said that, "there will be discussion and criticism. The viewers of the stars look with different eyes. They have high expectations. I think this will be fine."

She added that,"the audience should be by our side. We work for them. People can make mistakes. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. What is the benefit of harming someone? We need artists. Even if an artist makes a mistake, he is ours. That's what I want the house artist to return home."

Regarding the negative comments made through social media, the beautiful heroine said, "the audience loves us. I get hurt when they say negative things. The mindset of the audience needs to change. When they say something good, we are encouraged to act."She added that, "looking at the neighboring countries, it can be seen that their actors come into the mainstream in adulthood. And we start working as soon as we go to school. So at one stage it seems like a lot of age."

Smiling, Keya said, "I am fortunate to have worked with Manna Bhai, Amin Bhai, Shakib Khan, Ferdous and others. Now we can also work if we make a movie thinking of Riaz brothers. It is our failure. We can't work with talented artists. Cinemas have shrunk. When it comes to OTT, piracy is happening. However, if the number of cineplexes increases across the country, the number of movies will increase. Then this situation will change."

Keya said that with proper preparation, it is possible to make a movie on a small budget. She said, "the camera used to open at 12 o'clock. The artist would go at 9 o'clock. It took time to apply makeup. I think if the work is done outdoors, then the work can be taken forward by opening the camera at 8 o'clock. So much budget is not required. In this case, all concerned including the artist should have a cooperative mentality. Then it is possible to do a good job even with a small budget."

Actors have been seen applying for films with government grants. Asked if Keya had such a plan, she said, "I haven't thought of anything like that now. The audience wants to see my work. So I am focusing on acting. But in the future, if any good story comes to hand, I can also apply for a grant."
