That is why Moinot ghat popularly known as mini Cox's Bazar located in a noise-free environment very close to the capital, will call you to come its nature again and again.
Every day from morning till night, the people who love to travel come to the ghat to pass their leisure time. The place has gradually become popular which can be built into a modern tourist area with the help of government assistance. Abul Kashem Member, a lessee of Moinot ghat, said, many people across the country come to Dohars's 'Mini Cox's Bazar' everyday.
Besides, a large number of people from Madaripur district, including Faridpur and Rajbari, pass through this ghat every day. This place can be turned into a potential tourist area with the help of authorities concerned of the government. Dohar Upazila Chairman Md Alamgir Hossain said, the authorities concerned of the government have been informed to develop Moinot ghat as a tourist area. There are plans to bring the fast-growing place under the tourism industry.
In this regard, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Joint Secretary (Tourism) Dr Mallick Anwar Hossain told the media that the government is working to bring the spectacular places across the country under tourism. If the locals come forward in order to transform Dohar's Moinot ghat to Mini Cox's Bazar, all out support will be provided by the deputy commissioner.
