America-Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition kicks off

The America-Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition has started from October 1. The exhibition has been organized by Mahfuza Beauty will continue till the 31st of this month. Four Bangladeshi and two American artists are taking part in the exhibition at the Monaco Gallery in Mission Vihero, Los Angeles, USA, organized by Eternal Art Group. This is their third exhibition.

Mahfuza is the curator of Chirantan Art Group, the main organizer of the exhibition, said, We are organizing this exhibition regularly. The exhibition has titled America Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition with four Bangladeshi artists and two American artists.Mahfuza added that Mini and Jim Matthew will be among the American artists. Besides, works of Bangladeshi artists Sameer Kumar Bairagi, Nazmun Rahman, Ankon Zaman and Mahfuza Beauty will be in this exhibition.

Although Mahfuza is the curator of this exhibition, she is an artist and a teacher. She is currently a painting teacher at the Aga Khan School. The subject of her picture is mainly Bangladeshi flowers, doors, dried leaves. But now she is working with Bangladeshi folk motifs. Her desire is to present the identity of women's art in Bangladesh to the world. That is why she has portrayed the motifs of Alpana and Nakshi Kantha of Bangladesh in her pictures.
