Maliha in play-back for the first time

 
The movie 'Tungi Parar Dusshahosi Khoka' is being made with Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It is being directed by Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar. The shooting of the movie has started in Tungi Para since last week. The song recording of the movie is going on in the gap.

Fairooj Maliha, the champion of the fourth season of 'Meridian-Channel I Khude Gaanraj', played for the first time through this movie. The song 'Ekbar Biday De Ma Ghure Aasi', written in honor of Khudiram Basu, one of the revolutionaries of the anti-British movement, will be used in the new arrangement. The song has been re-arranged by Azam Babu. Maliha has given voice in the reprise version of the original song. The recording of the song was completed two days ago.

"I'm much happier," said little star Fairooj Maliha. I never thought I would be able to sing in a movie so soon. Everything is in a hurry. After coming to Dhaka, Gulzar's uncle asked me to go to the office one day. After going there, he said, you have to sing for this movie. I was completely surprised. I will sing in movie and again in the movie made about the father of the nation Bangabandhu, it is like a dream. Many thanks to Uncle for giving me such an opportunity.'

She added, 'The original song was composed in honor of the revolutionary leader Khudiram Basu. The song was composed by Pitambar Das, a folk poet from Bankura. The reprise version of that song will be used in the movie, and I sang that song. This is my first song for the movie, I am very happy for that.'

It is to be mentioned that Fairooj Maliha, a girl from Khulna, is the champion of the fourth season of 'Meridian-Channel I Khude Gaanraj' held in 2013. She started learning music from the age of three. She also learned to dance as a child. The little star also won a national award for song and dance. Maliha is now studying in class XI at Khulna Government Pioneer Women's College. Her younger sister Fairooj Labiba is the champion of 2019 'Gaaner Raaja'.
