IYCM aspires to deal social issues through volunteerism

Ignited with the dream of achieving social change, International Youth Change Maker (IYCM) activists and volunteers are actively working since inception to reach United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Its expansion has been seen not just in Bangladesh, but also in other parts of the globe. Change agents are devoted to achieving the feat with the motto, " Change Myself,  Change The World."

The Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is a United Nations-adopted global development objective that aims to benefit all parts of the globe, enhance people's quality of life, and preserve the world's sole livable planet. Numerous development objectives, include poverty reduction, eradicating food shortages, providing universal access to health and education, preserving the environment, avoiding climate change, and assuring the safety of all animals.

Sajib Khandokar , founder of International Youth Change Maker, said of their efforts, "We are working to resolve a variety of social issues." We recognize that only youth can beautify the present and secure the future. Young people are not simply citizens of a single nation; they are global citizens. As a result, everyone must work together to ensure the world's general growth.

And for that, youth must be qualified, which is why we are striving to develop efficient and responsible youth and to convert our organization into a youth-friendly one." In 2012, a group of ambitious volunteers set out to effect changes in society that would enable backward communities to receive ongoing assistance; reforms that would enable the fundamental needs of the helpless to be addressed and their due rights to be realized and their first initiative is to give Eid clothing to street children, enabling about half a hundred  neglected youngsters to enjoy Eid in new garments.

Volunteers who are committed to the greater good of society participate in developmental activities such as public aid, shelter, disaster relief, and public awareness. This has resulted in a large number of volunteers from various areas of the country expressing an interest in working with the International Youth Change Maker. As a result, they agreed in 2016 to establish committees in various districts to promote volunteerism across the country.

The members of this committee participate in a variety of social development initiatives with the assistance of district volunteers.Founder sajib Khandokar said, "There is very little space for young people and children in Bangladesh to speak and their rights are very limited. IYCM is a platform where all the youth and children will participate equally and I want to build a new Bangladesh with all the youth and children. We are working with that in mind. I and my members have been volunteering since before the organization was formed. "
