'BD Police Football Championship' begins in Bogura

Bangladesh Police Football Championship begins at Bogura Police Lines in Bogura district on Saturday afternoon. Md Abdul Baten, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police, inaugurated the championship as the chief guest while Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudip Kumar Chakrabarty was in the chair. SP of CID, Bogura Kawsar Shikdar, SP of Bogura In-service Centre Belal Hossain, SP of PBI Bogura Akram Hossain Biswas, Bogura Press Club Club Mahamudul Hasan Nayan, General Secretary Arif Rehman, District Sports Officer Masud Rana, among other, addressed the program.

Contacted, Abdur Rashid, Additional SP of Bogura district (Crime) said that five teams of Bangladesh Police took part in the championship and they are 4-APBN, Bogura, Rajshahi Range and RMP under Rajshahi Range and RpMP and Rangpur Range under Rangpur Range Police. The final of championship will be held 30 November.
