Methila will walk wearing Jamdani in Sharjah

 
The 'Bangladesh-UAE Friendship Festival' is going to be held for the expatriate remittance fighters of the UAE on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of independence. The event will take place on December 3 at the Sharjah Stadium, famous for its cricket in the UAE, and will feature many silver screen stars.

A special 'Jamdani Show' will be held in that hall along with various events including dance and song. Where different models of the country will represent Bangladesh. Tangia Zaman Methila, winner of 'Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020' will be the show stopper in this show.

Tangia Zaman Methila said, "I am very happy to have the opportunity to represent my country outside the country on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of our independence. This show is happening around the famous Jamdani sari of our country, there are many others including me. I'm staying there as a show stopper. Everyone will walk there wearing Jamdani sari, the tradition of their country. This is a great opportunity to present your country and its heritage. I hope it will be a wonderful experience and I will be able to make the country famous by presenting beautifully on foreign soil.'

She starts her flight to Dubai on Tuesday night. After the ceremony, she will return to the country on the night flight on December 3.

Actress Yeamin Haque Bobby, Nusrat Faria and Roshan will also take part in this huge event organized by 'Bangladesh-UAE Friendship Festival'. They will dance with the song there.
