Nazmul Ahsan new Petrobangla Chairman

 
Nazmul Ahsan, an Additional Secretary of the government, joined as Chairman of the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation, better known as Petrobangla, on deputation on Monday (December 6). Prior to this assignment, Nazmul served the same organization as the director (admin) and also joint secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Division.

During his career, he served in the field level administration at different capacities, including deputy commissioner of Khulna and Satkhira. He joined in the 13th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (admin) cadre on April 25, 1994. He also served in the Power Division and Energy and Mineral Resources Division in different positions. Nazmul did his graduation and post-graduation degree in Physics from Dhaka University.
