Actor Shariful Raj returns to film world

 
Shariful Raj made his film debut with the movie ‘Ice Cream.’ He was seen in the latest movie ‘Networker Baire.’ On the other hand, Shariful Raj’s wife Pori Moni made her debut with the film ‘Bhalobasha Seemahin.’Shariful Raj was born in Brahmanbaria while he was brought up in Sylhet.

Shariful Raj told media he will be returning to work on a new adventure through the web film ‘Gunin’. Shariful Raj said that the shooting of ‘Gunin’ is scheduled to start after October 10. Shariful Raj told media, “In the meantime, I have finished the appearance test. My character’s name is Ramiz. I was working with Gias Uddin Selim Bhai for the first time. He gave me the opportunity, so I am grateful to him. Being able to work with a director like him, that’s a lot to me.” Meanwhile, Shariful Raj starrer ‘Hawa’, ‘Paran’, ‘Raktajaba’ and ‘Damal’ are waiting for release.

Earlier, Pori Moni was arrested on August 4, following a raid by RAB on her Banani residence. A case was filed against her under the Narcotics Control Act the following day. On August 31, a Dhaka court granted bail to Pori Moni in the drugs case until submission of a charge-sheet. She walked out of jail the next day.

Pori Moni said that she started loving Shariful Raj while shooting on the set of Gias Uddin Selim’s film ‘Gunin.’ She said, “We got married four months ago.”Pori Moni said she has decided to postpone all activities of shooting as she is now pregnant. “I will not work for one and half years. I want a healthy baby” Pori Moni stated.
