Interest-free small loan distributed in Dimla

Interest-free small loan has been distributed among poor and marginal people of Dimla upazila in Nilphamari district with a view to improve their living standard. Organized by Upazila Social Services Office, the loan distribution program was at upazila parishad hall room on Sunday.

Earlier, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion where Upazila Social Services Officer Nurun Nahar Nuri delivered the welcome speech. Under 9 projects, a total of Tk 15.95 lac has been distributed among some 103 beneficiary members of five unions Paschim Chhatnay, Dimla adar, Khogakharibari, Tepakhribari and Purba Chhatnay of the upazila.

Balapara, Dimla, Jhunagachh Chapani, Khalisha Chapani, Khogakharibari, Naotara, Paschim Chhatnay, Purba Chhatnay, and Tepakhribari. Upazila Vice-Chairman Babu Nirendranath Roy, Mohila Vice-Chairman Ayesha Siddiqua, Upazila Youth Development Officer Khandaker Enamul Kabir, Khogakharibari UP member Jewel Hossain Robbu Miah and Dimla Leprosy and Sadhaorn Protibondhi Unnayan Sangstha Founding President Mominur Rahman, among others, were present on the occasion.
