Historic 7th March observed in Cumilla

The Historic 7th March was observed in Cumilla by commemorating the landmark speech of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.  Member of Parliament from Cumilla-6 constituency AKM Bahauddin Bahar along with ruling party female lawmaker (reserved) Anjum Sultana Seema, Cumilla Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Superintendent of Police Farooq Ahmed with officials and employees from various institutions placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Cumilla Nagar Udyan in phases. 

It is mentionable that Bangabandhu had addressed his epoch-making speech of independence before a massive rally at the historic Race Course Maidan, now Suhrawardy Udyan, in the capital on March 7, 1971.
