Law and order meeting held in Debidwar

 
A monthly law and order meeting was held at the conference room of Upazila Nirbahi Officer in Debidwar of Cumilla on Wednesday with a view to improving law and order situation in the upazila.

Chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Ashiq Un Nabi, the meeting was addressed by Upazila Chairman Md Abul Kalam Azad.

Upazila Vice-Chairman Abul Kashem Omani, Mohila Vice-Chairman Advocate Nazma Begum, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Gias Uddin, Debidwar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Arifur Rahman, former Zila Parishad member Shirin Sultana, Upazila Health Officer Dr Enamul Haque, Secondary Education Officer AKM Ali Jinnah and Agriculture Officer Abdur Rouf were present at the meeting. 

Among other, all the officers and employees of upazila parishad along with UP chairmen of various unions of the upazila were also present. The meeting has discussed on various matters including the prevention of robber, tackling youth gangs, setting up CCTV at New Market Bazar, stop illegal dredging in Gomti river and solution to traffic congestion at Debidwar New Market.
