Noted film director Rahim Nawaz no more
Veteran film director Rahim Nawaz passed away at his Kalayanpur residence on Friday night.
Director Kabirul Islam Rana confirmed the news to The Daily Star.
Rahim Nawaz started his journey in movies with Zahir Raihan's "Sangam". Later on, he jointly directed the films "Dui Bhai" and "Shongshar" with Star Cinework organisation.
His solo debut as a director was with "Shuorani Duorani". Some of his notable works includes "Moner Moto Bou" and "Jog Biyog".
Bangladesh Film Directors Association mourned his death.
