BREB observes Sheikh Russel's birth anniversary

 
Sheikh Russel's birth anniversary was observed in a befitting way by Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) on Tuesday. Sheikh Russel was the youngest child of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib who was killed on 15 August 1975 with most of his family members. BREB Chairman Mohammad Selim Uddin placed flowers at the portrait of Sheikh Russel in Bidyut Bhaban at morning 8 am. Senior officials of BREB were present at that time.

Moreover, BREB Chairman Mohammad Selim Uddin and other higher officials placed flowers at the portrait of Sheikh Russel on the premises of BREB Headquarters on Tuesday. A cake was cut to mark the occasion. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's book "Amader Chhoto Russel Sona" was gifted to the children of BREB officials and employees. Officials of BREB participated in a virtual discussion program which was organized by Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
