CNS leaves for Japan

 
Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal left for Japan on Wednesday night to participate in International Fleet Review and to join 18th Western Pacific Naval Symposium.

Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal will have meetings with Chief of Maritime Self Defence of Japan Admiral Sakai Ryo, US Pacific Fleet Commander Admiral Samuel Paparo and Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, Commander in Chief of Royal Thai Navy Admiral Choengchai Chomchoengpaet and Chief of Naval Staff of Korean Navy Admiral Lee Jong Ho. Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal is expected to return to Bangladesh on 12 November.
