Shoeb Chowdhury meets Anwar Hossain Manju

 
Chairman of Editorial Board of The Asian Age and eminent business leader Shoeb Chowdhury had a meeting with Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman and former minister Anwar Hossain Manju at his office yesterday. They held discussions on different issues including freedom of press, Russia-Ukraine War, human rights, technology, current political situation and so on.

Being a veteran politician, Anwar Hossain Manju expressed his views about the prevailing circumstances at home and abroad. At the same time Shoeb Chowdhury talked about his ideas on driving Bangladesh forward in terms of economy and technological advancement. Both Anwar Hossain Manju and Shoeb Chowdhury laid emphasis on the prevalence of independent mass media which is the fourth pillar of democracy.

Shoeb Chowdhury said that everyone should work with patriotism and devotion for the country's betterment at this crucial time. Anwar Hossain Manju, in light of his long experience, gave some valuable suggestions for the progress of The Asian Age which is a reputed and prestigious English newspaper.
