Mesbaul Haque central bank's new spokesman
Bangladesh Bank has appointed Md. Mesbaul Haque in the post of the central bank's new spokesman. Md. Mesbaul Haque has replaced immediate past spokesman Abul Kalam Azad. This appointment comes into effect from Sunday, 4 December 2022.
Md. Mesbaul Haque joined Bangladesh Bank as an Assistant Director in 1993. He held different positions in Bangladesh Bank's offsite supervision, vigilance, financial sector support and strategic planning, payment system departments and so on.
Md. Mesbaul Haque visited several countries including USA, Switzerland, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia and India for training and attending seminars, workshops and conferences.
