Journalist Main Uddin Ahmed no more

 
Senior journalist Main Uddin Ahmed passed away in Jamaica Medical Center, USA on Sunday. His son Reaz Ahmed confirmed Main Uddin Ahmed's death news on Facebook. He was 78 years old at the time of his death. He was suffering from cardiac problems and kidney complications.

Main Uddin Ahmed worked for The Asian Age as city page editor from 2015 to 2018. Main Uddin Ahmed migrated to the United States in 2018. Main Uddin Ahmed continued working for The Asian Age sending reports from the USA.

Main Uddin Ahmed was a permanent member of the National Press Club of Bangladesh. He was involved in different Bengali and English newspapers in his long career in journalism.
