Awareness meeting on social evils held in Manikganj

 
An awareness meeting on child marriage, drugs and eve-teasing was held in Saturia upazila of Manikganj on Thursday.

The meeting was organized at the conference room of Baliati Iswar Chandra High School where a large number of students were present on the occasion.   
Manikganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Abdul Latif addressed the meeting as the chief guest while Saturia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sharmin Ara was present as special guest.  Chaired by Baliati Iswar Chandra High School headmaster Asalat Jaman Khan Arif, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Khairunnahar, Saturia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Md Imam Al Mehedi, among other, spoke the occasion.  Saturia Press Club President Md Jahangir Alam, school managing committee members and teachers attended the meeting. Later, DC Mohammad Abdul Latif inaugurated motor driving training program. He also visited Baliati union parishad and took part various programs in the upazila.
